This Privacy Policy explains how ScreenMe Consulting Services (“ScreenMe,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the ScreenMe job board and related services.

1. Who we are

ScreenMe Consulting Services operates a job board dedicated to clinical trial and clinical research roles. This policy applies to our website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password, account role (job seeker or employer), and, for employers, your company name.
  • Candidate profile information. If you build a job-seeker profile, we collect information you choose to provide, such as your location and preferred location, LinkedIn username, résumé/CV file, skills, years of experience, therapeutic areas, and work history.
  • Employer information. Company details, job postings you create, and a payment processor customer identifier.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details; we retain only limited transaction records (such as a payment identifier and the items purchased).
  • Communications. Information you submit through our contact form, newsletter sign-ups, job alerts (saved searches), and any emails you send us.
  • Usage and analytics. Aggregate activity such as job views, save actions, and “apply” clicks, used to provide employers with posting performance metrics and to improve the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. See “Cookies” below.

3. How we use your information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To create and manage your account and profile;
  • To display job listings and match relevant roles, alerts, and recommendations;
  • To process payments for job postings, packages, and services;
  • To send transactional emails, newsletters (where you have opted in), and job alerts;
  • To provide employers with aggregate performance analytics for their postings;
  • To respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers (subprocessors). We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email and newsletter delivery), Apify (job listing aggregation), and Vercel(hosting). These providers process information only on our behalf.
  • Employers. If a candidate database or recruiter feature is enabled and you have chosen to make your profile discoverable, employers may view profile information you have provided. We will describe any such feature before you opt in.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ScreenMe, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Job listing data

Many listings on the Service are aggregated from publicly available sources, such as company career pages and applicant tracking systems. This data is processed to make clinical research roles discoverable in one place. If you are an employer and would like a listing removed, please contact us.

6. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to authenticate users and keep sessions active. Disabling these cookies may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the Service.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see below).

8. Your rights and choices

  • You can access and update most profile information from your account settings.
  • You can unsubscribe from newsletters using the link in each email or by contacting us.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

9. Data security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. International users

We are based in the United States and process information there. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
